**Role Overview**
We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to conduct medical assessments for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
In this role, you will review electronic medical records through a web portal and perform in-person physical exams on each Veteran. You will then document your findings electronically through the web portal.
This position does not involve making disability determinations, which are made solely by the United States Veterans Administration. Your primary focus will be on performing Disability Assessments for 3-5 Veterans per day.
**Schedule and Setting**
- Part-time schedule: Monday and Tuesday
- In-person work environment
**Key Attributes**
- Able to analyze data from medical records and exam findings
- Skilled in time management and meeting requirements
- Hold a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
- Proficient in using a computer
**Requirements**
- Current, unrestricted NP or PA (NCCPA accredited) license
