Job Title: Disability Assessment Provider
We are seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
About the Role
In this role, you will conduct in-person physical exams and review medical records electronically through a web portal. Your findings will be documented electronically and submitted to the VA for review.
This position is strictly limited to performing Disability Assessments on Veterans and does not involve treatment or medication prescription. You will typically see 3-5 patients per day.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions
- Perform independent medical assessments
- Utilize computer skills to document findings and submit reports
Requirements
- Current and unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NCCPA accredited)
- Meet credentialing requirements set forth by the VA
Benefits
This is a full-time position with a salary range of $110,000 - $120,000. Benefits include paid time off, health insurance, and training and continued support.
