Job Description:
We're Seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
At {company}, we're committed to providing top-notch medical assessments to United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will review medical records electronically through our secure web portal and perform a focused, in-person physical exam on each Veteran. Your role is to document the exam findings required by the VA through the web portal.
Please note that you will not be responsible for making disability determinations. The United States Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations.
This position performs Disability Assessments on 3-5 Veterans per day and involves working with electronic medical records. We require our candidates to be skilled in time management, able to stay on task and meet requirements.
Key Requirements:
- Hold a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
- Be proficiently computer-savvy
Work Environment:
All work is performed in a clinical setting. Our schedule is set during normal business hours, Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 9am-5pm. This is an IN-PERSON position, and you will NOT treat patients or prescribe medication.
