Key Role:
A Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
In this role, you will review electronic medical records through a web portal and conduct in-person physical exams for each Veteran.
You will document exam findings electronically via the web portal.
This position performs Disability Assessments only and does not involve treating or prescribing medication.
The typical workload is 3-5 assessments per day.
Schedule: Part-time (Monday-Wednesday: 7am-1pm, 2pm-5pm, Thursday: 7am-11am).
This is an in-person position requiring independent medical assessment skills, data analysis, and time management abilities.
Please note that this position requires a current and unrestricted NP or PA license, proficiency in computer use, and meeting credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
