Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. This is an in-person position that requires reviewing medical records electronically, conducting focused physical exams, and documenting exam findings.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Disability Assessments on 3-5 Veterans per day
- Review medical records electronically through a web portal
- Conduct in-person physical exams and document findings
- Analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted NP or PA (NCCPA accredited) license
- Credentialing requirements set forth by the VA
