Job Title: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to conduct medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review medical records electronically through a web portal.
- Perform focused, in-person physical exams on each Veteran.
- Electronically document exam findings required by the VA through the web portal.
Important Notes:
- This role does not make disability determinations. The United States Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations.
- The position only performs Disability Assessments on Veterans and does not involve treating or prescribing medication.
- This is an IN-PERSON position.
Schedule and Work Environment:
- This is a Part-Time or Full-Time position.
- Typical day: 4-6 patients per day.
- All work is performed in a clinical setting during normal business hours with no on-call requirements.
Requirements:
- Hold a current, unrestricted NP or PA (NCCPA accredited) license.
- Be proficient in using a computer.
