About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review medical records electronically through a web portal.
- Perform focused, in-person physical exams on each Veteran.
- Electronically document exam findings required by the VA through the web portal.
Key Attributes:
- Independent Medical Assessment skills.
- Data analysis ability to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions.
- Excellent time management and task completion skills.
- Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
- Proficiency in computer use.
Requirements:
- Must hold a current, unrestricted NP or PA (NCCPA accredited) license.
