MRG Exams West, a leader in independent medical examinations, is seeking a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Provider to conduct medical assessments for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
The ideal candidate will review medical records, perform comprehensive assessments, and complete Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQ's) through a secure Web Portal. Please note that disability determinations will be made by the VA, and this role does not involve treatment of patients.
- Conduct independent medical assessments
- Review medical records and complete DBQ's
- Must be proficient in finding key data points within electronic medical records
- Ability to analyze data and form medical opinions
- Submit completed DBQ's within 24 hours
- Hold a current license as a Physiatrist and be Board Certified in Neurological Surgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry and Neurology
