In this vital role, you will conduct comprehensive assessments based on medical health records accessed through a secure Web Portal. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the Veterans Affairs (VA) disability benefits process.
Your key responsibilities include :
- Reviewing medical health records thoroughly and performing in-depth assessments of veterans.
- Completing condition-specific Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs) using the Web Portal.
- Documenting essential exam findings for the VA without making disability determinations, which remain solely under the VA's purview.
- Typically assessing around four veterans per day.
- Working 2-3 days a week.
