Position Summary : We are on the lookout for a committed and skilled Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to conduct vital medical assessments for veterans. This role is exclusively focused on independent evaluations, with no treatment responsibilities. Your expertise will be instrumental in reviewing medical records, performing in-depth assessments, and completing VA-provided Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through a secure online portal to assist the VA in making precise disability determinations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Review and analyze veterans' medical records through a secure web portal.
- Conduct thorough, non-treating assessments of veterans to document current health conditions.
- Complete and submit DBQs using VA-specific templates to capture all relevant medical findings.
- Ensure all DBQs are comprehensive, accurate, and submitted within 24 hours of the assessment.
- Assess up to four veterans daily.
Schedule : This position requires 2 days per week of in-person assessments, with additional Telehealth days available.
