Medical Assessments for Veterans
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
Key Responsibilities
- Review medical records electronically through a web portal
- Perform focused, in-person physical exams on each Veteran
- ELECTRONICALLY DOCUMENT exam findings required by the VA through the web portal
Important Notes
- The position DOES NOT make disability determinations. The United States Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations.
- This role ONLY performs Disability Assessments on Veterans.
- You will NOT treat, and you will NOT prescribe medication in this position.
Work Environment
This is an IN-PERSON position with a set schedule Monday-Friday 8a-4p.
Requirements
- Hold a current, unrestricted NP or PA (NCCPA accredited) license
- Meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA
