Job Title: Disability Assessor for United States Veterans
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Medical Assessments: Review electronic medical records through a web portal and conduct in-person physical exams on each Veteran.
- Documentation: Electronically document exam findings required by the VA through the web portal.
- Independence: Work independently to analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions.
Requirements:
- Licensure: Hold a current, unrestricted NP or PA (NCCPA accredited) license.
- Credentialing: Meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
Work Environment:
This is an in-person position with a set schedule during normal business hours (8am-5pm, 2 days/week).
