The Role
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Psychologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. This role will involve conducting comprehensive Disability Assessments in person, reviewing behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal, and completing Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person assessments of veterans' mental health and behavioral well-being.
- Review electronic records of veterans' behavioral health history.
- Complete DBQs accurately and efficiently.
- Evaluate an average of 4 veterans per day.
Requirements
- Graduation from an APA-accredited program/school.
- A valid and unrestricted Psychology license.
- Meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
Work-Life Balance
This role offers a flexible schedule of 1-2 days per week, with working hours between 8:30am-4:30pm. This allows for a healthy work-life balance and ample time for personal pursuits.
