MRG Exams, a leader in independent medical examinations, seeks a part-time Ophthalmologist to conduct comprehensive eye exams for United States Veterans as part of the VA's SHA process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing medical health records through a secure web portal and performing thorough eye exams on each veteran, completing forms digitally.
The successful candidate will travel nationwide, receiving training and continued support. This position involves reviewing and assessing 3-6 veterans per day on average, working as a 1099 Independent Contractor. Strong analytical skills are required to analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete forms and provide medical opinions.
We welcome individuals passionate about serving their community and interested in working with veterans. PRN availability every month is preferred. The selected candidate must be able to perform Visual Field Testing (VFT) and meet the VA's credentialing requirements. Medical insurance options are available, and travel expenses are covered directly.
