We understand the need to provide a flexible working environment partnered with team collaboration and socialization. Therefore, we operate a hybrid working model with 3 days in-office and 2 days remotely.
This role is based at our HQ in Solon, Ohio.

The Role:

MRI Software offers enterprise software applications and hosted solutions that support real estate property owners, investors, and managers in operating their real estate property management businesses and maximizing the returns on their diverse global business portfolios. Our client base ranges from small- and mid-size property managers to Fortune 500 companies.
We are seeking an entry/mid-level Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and growth of our Consumer Engage products within the MRI Living suite. The role will be measured by delivering high quality, innovative solutions which delight our customers, are adopted by the market and are competitively differentiated. Ability to gain shared vision on challenging decisions which impact various teams and the offering. Success will require closely engaging the market (distribution channels, market influencers) and our customers to define and drive delivery of a product which customers can’t imagine how they worked or operated without. Candidates must have a ‘can do’ attitude and be comfortable working in fast paced, unstructured environment where a winning team will be in remote locations. The role will direct a cross-functional team to deliver innovative enhancements and extensions to MRI’s Customer Relationship Management, Communications Management and Chatbot product lines which service multifamily operators.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing customer interviews, user experience research and market assessments
  • Translating business requirements into technical specifications for engineers to understand
  • Planning and designing the product roadmap
  • Prioritizing product features and communicating the reason behind this to the stakeholders
  • Creating pilot programs to run prototypes and assess outcomes
  • Defining and tracking success metrics
  • Communicating effectively with all stakeholders
  • Ensuring timely delivery of the product roadmap
  • Coordinate product launch plans across Product Marketing, Sales, Support, IT Operations, Legal, Education Services, Professional Services, InfoSec, Partner Team, Revenue Ops and others.
REQUIREMENTS:
Personal and Business Skills:
  • Ability to translate market opportunities and client needs into a clear, defined offering vision, roadmap and design which will meet the business goals and win in the marketplace.
  • Experienced people leader – must inspires teams with new ideas, clear decision making and priorities and be able to lead through influence despite not having direct reporting authority.
  • Experience driving product ideas from concept and ideation through successful market launch.
  • Customer-driven innovation based on understanding unique customer needs and defining and driving the desired end-to-end customer experience.
  • Solid decision-making skills despite ambiguous data and situations. Considers upstream and downstream operational impacts as decision inputs. Balances long-term vs. short-term objectives.
  • Operational effectiveness by demonstrating effective project management skills for complex projects, anticipates likely risks, putting mitigation plans in place, drives recommendations and proactive communication of issues to leadership
  • Effective Communication skills that can adjust to different audiences
  • Solid understanding of Agile processes for software development
Experience:
  • 3-5 years of enterprise software experience in some combination of Product Management, UX, Design, Product Owner or software engineer.
  • Experience working with Agile software development teams
  • Experience designing SaaS solutions with a solid understanding of the challenges and best practices.
  • Industry experience with multifamily rental property leasing and management
  • Experience with global business processes in regions outside the US specifically EMEA & APAC
Educational Requirements:
  • B.S./B.A. plus 5 years of related experience
  • MBA plus 3 years of related experience
