Two (2) Assistant Plant Managers – Liquid Feed Manufacturer – MN & NY
My client, a leading company in the Liquid Feed Supplement industry, is seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual to fill the roles of Assistant Plant Manager at their small facilities (6pp); one located in southeastern Minnesota and the other is in eastern upstate New York. This position offers an exciting opportunity to engage in the day-to-day operations of a bulk and medicated liquid feed plant, playing a key role in optimizing efficiency, safety, and profitability. The Assistant Plant Manager will ensure effective handling of orders, especially those involving batch liquid feed products. This hands-on role also offers opportunities to contribute to regional and global projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate activities of plant employees (team of up to 8)
- Assist the Plant Manager with recruitment, training, performance management, and discipline.
- Enforce company policies to ensure a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
- Coordinate production and receiving to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Observe operations and recommend efficiency improvements.
- Assist with customer service activities, serving as a customer contact alongside the Plant Manager.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations, including product mixing and blending.
- Plan and maintain records for all medicated products.
- Assist with plant audits and special projects as needed.
- Communicate professionally with colleagues and employees, providing constructive feedback.
- Identify and promptly resolve problems.
- Maintain confidentiality and support team efforts.
Skills and Expertise
Compensation : $80K-$90K w / 5% target bonus, plus benefits, relocation assistance, EOE; No sponsorship available.
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
