We are searching for a Associate General Counsel for their location and headquarters in the Galena, KS area.
The Associate General Counsel, in consultation with management, provides guidance, direction, and assistance on a wide variety of legal matters and issues, including in the areas of marketing & advertising law; intellectual property; privacy; information technology and systems; contract review, drafting and negotiation of corporate transactions and litigation / claim management.
Requirements :
- Minimum of 5 years comparable law firm and / or in-house experience.
- Background in corporate law, with experience in some of the following areas strongly preferred : marketing & advertising law; intellectual property; privacy; information technology and systems; cybersecurity and licensing.
- Experience in the following areas will be given additional consideration : employment and labor law; environmental law; finance and tax; antitrust; corporate governance; contract law and UCC Article 2; and litigation / claim management.
- Experience in providing legal advice and support for manufacturing operations desired.
