Highland Consulting Group, a nationwide recruiting firm specializing in construction talent placement within the commercial, institutional, and industrial sectors, is seeking an experienced Estimator for a reputable General Contractor in the State College, PA area.
This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with at least 5 years of general construction estimating experience looking to contribute to a growing and dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist the Chief Estimator in securing new projects.
- Develop master budgets and cost models across all Construction / CSI Divisions.
- Provide hard bid and conceptual estimates for projects.
- Independently estimate change orders and ensure timely communication with the Chief Estimator.
- Maintain and enhance cost databases to improve estimating accuracy.
- Conduct value engineering and constructability reviews.
