We are working with an energy engineering and consulting firm that helps commercial and public sector customers in California develop energy efficiency and renewable energy projects.
They are adding a Solar & Battery Sales Engineer to join their team in Oakland. This individual will play a pivotal role in reducing energy and carbon emissions in existing buildings through innovative Deep Energy Retrofits, electrification, and battery-enabled solar-powered microgrids.
As a Solar & Battery Sales Engineer, you will take charge of developing solar and battery microgrid projects, overseeing them from feasibility assessment through to post-construction oversight. You'll work closely with design-build teams to ensure the seamless execution of project designs while upholding rigorous quality assurance processes. Additionally, you'll play a vital role in driving company growth initiatives and may have the opportunity to advance to associate/principal roles based on your performance and dedication.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Mechanical Engineering Degree and exposure to building and energy systems.
- 3 years of experience with solar and energy storage/microgrid projects.
- Familiarity with various C&I renewable energy financing solutions.
- Motivated, driven, and dedicated to organizational development.
- Strong organizational skills with a commitment to precision.
Salary Range: $100 -130K DOE bonus
