Position Purpose
The Training & Development Manager will design, create, and implement a comprehensive construction training and development strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Training and development needs shall be identified through surveys, performance reviews, and interviews.
Responsibilities
- Develop training materials and programs for various roles, including technical skills, and leadership development.
- Facilitate on-boarding training for new projects and new personnel as required to meet training program goals.
- Oversee the delivery of training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
- Ensure all training programs meet industry regulations and safety standards.
- Stay updated on legal requirements and best practices in construction training.
- Lead and manage existing leadership teams to roll out and assist with training.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the organization.
- Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, evaluations, and performance metrics.
- Continuously refine training initiatives based on feedback and changing industry needs.
- Work closely with project managers, HR, and other departments to ensure training is relevant and effectively addresses operational needs.
- Collaborate with external training providers and industry experts as needed.
- Develop and manage the training budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Monitor training expenses and provide regular reports on training initiatives.
