Position Overview: As a Floater, you will provide essential support by filling in for staff absences and ensuring that participants continue to receive uninterrupted services. Your role involves developing and implementing skill-building activities, monitoring participant progress, and working closely with various departments and external parties to meet participants' needs.Key Responsibilities:
- Staff Coverage: Fill in for staff when they are out to ensure that clients do not miss their scheduled activities. Ensure continuity of care and support for participants during staff absences.
- Documentation: Accurately document activities and progress in reports, case notes, and both monthly and quarterly reports to maintain up-to-date records of participant development.
- Mentorship: Guide participants in learning and performing activities correctly. Provide redirection and support as needed to ensure they are acquiring the necessary skills.
- Productivity Monitoring: Record and monitor the productivity of individual program participants, ensuring they are meeting their goals and making progress.
- Personal Assistance: Assist participants with personal hygiene if necessary, ensuring they maintain a level of personal care appropriate for their needs.
- Barrier Reduction: Encourage participants to overcome barriers that may hinder their community involvement or employment opportunities. Identify and address behavioral, emotional, hygienic, or personal challenges.
- Liaison Role: Act as a liaison between MRJN Associates and other involved parties to ensure participants' needs are being met. Maintain regular communication with transportation services and care providers.
- Communication and Coordination: Develop and maintain effective communication with the facilities where participants are working to ensure consistent expectations, quality, and production needs. Address any complaints or issues that arise.
- Additional Duties: Support billing departments as needed and provide job coaching to clients when required, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to succeed.
