What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at MRM McCann?
We are looking for a Project Manager for our global market support team. This position is part of a team that is responsible for the successful deployment of web-based Content Management System solutions, working with cross-functional, multi-project resources to ensure on time and accurate delivery. The Project Manager plans and/or supports, schedules, and monitors project activities, applies technical, theoretical, organizational and managerial skills to satisfy project requirements, while building positive professional relationships with clients and associates in a world platform/global scale. Overall responsibilities include:
*Participating in project kick-off meetings (Leading or co-leading these meetings should be anticipated)
*Manage or supporting project scope, resources, and schedules
*Understand development work and component utilization in CMS
*Supporting projects with cross-functional teams: QA, CMS, UX, Analytics/SEO and DEV
*Function as a client liaison as required
*Management or support of launch planning, resourcing, execution and testing
*Be responsive and flexible in working with partners. Drive collaboration.
*Interact and collaborate knowledgeably and professionally with multiple vendors within the US and our Global Partners.
Education and Experience:
*Must have minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role in a web or application deployment, IT consulting firm, strategy consulting firm, or agency environment; or equivalent transferable experience.
*Must have good Client communication skills.
*Must have good interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with an ability to negotiate solutions to senior business stakeholders within the organization, be able to build strong relationships within client organizations, able to lead client meetings and create and deliver informational presentations.
*Must be able to work effectively with partners and/or suppliers to deliver solutions to the client.
*Must have demonstrated management skills including coaching and mentoring other Associate Project Managers.
*Must be able to manage multiple projects as one cohesive program. Must have strong project management skills and experience, including: schedule development, management, monitoring and oversight and resource management and forecasting
*Demonstrated ability to apply concepts in strategy, marketing, and brand management.
*MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
*MS Project or equivalent application knowledge.
*Working knowledge/familiarity with: Deployments, environments, content management systems, Application servers and Database servers.
*Must have good skill level with production tools and proprietary software (Cloud file storage such OneDrive, JIRA, Smartsheet, etc).
*Must have sound knowledge of the Web and related technologies; includes user experience design, web development, web services, integration, application management and hosting.
