mroads is looking for a Technical Recruiter to work with one of our direct clients located in Plano, TX. This role is hybrid in nature, with a mix of in office days and some days working remotely; this could change in the future based on business needs. Candidates are expected to live within a commutable distance to Plano, TX.
A successful candidate will bring 5 years of technical, full cycle recruiting experience, sourcing and recruiting for Data and Technology roles including Engineers, Architects, Scientists and Analysts. Hands-on skills will include proactive sourcing on GitHub, Stack Overflow, Google Xray and more. This person will also have domain experience in technical preemployment assessments and exposure to hiring candidates with work visa support.
Responsibilities
- Provide full cycle recruiting for technical positions in the Data & Technology team, carrying an average requisition load of approximately 15-20 opportunities.
- Foster and maintain relationships with potential candidates to ensure a strong and available talent pipeline beyond current open positions.
- Manage candidate pipelines and campaigns, including heavy proactive sourcing and leveraging and promoting the employee referral program.
- Understand the current internal talent, any skill or competency gaps, and anticipate future hiring needs.
- Develop a deep understanding of the department, functions, roles, and how we operate to identify each position’s key responsibilities and skill requirements.
- Shepherd candidates efficiently and effectively through the recruiting process to include technical preemployment assessments (Code Signal, Hacker Rank, Coder byte, Hacker Earth, etc.), work visa/immigration intakes, and the vetting of non-compete employment contracts
- Provide thorough, proactive, and transparent communication and excellent customer service to key stakeholders to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans.
- Provide recommendations and best practices to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the recruiting process.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and employment laws covering recruiting and hiring practices.
Required
- 4 to 6 years of recruiting experience in-house or at an agency, preferably including technology organizations.
- Two or more (2 ) years recruiting technical talent, including working within immigration regulations.
- Hands on and high proficiency at proactive sourcing techniques using: Seek Out/Phenom People, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean, Google Xray, GitHub, ATS/CRM sourcing tools, social media (Slack, Reddit, other), and online niche resources.
- Hands on experience leveraging technical preemployment assessments like Code Signal, Hacker Rank, Coder byte, Hacker Earth, etc.
- Ability to maintain strong relationships with all stakeholder groups: hiring teams, candidates, internal HR teams.
- Ability to understand the competitive talent landscape, and effectively communication the value proposition to joining client.
- Knowledge of how to leverage the full talent pipeline, from university/early in career hiring to up/cross skilling to internal talent mobility programs.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Hands on experience using Workday Recruit.
- Hands on experience using Phenom People, or another CRM.
