Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal care and medicine, with a focus on providing high-quality healthcare to a variety of animals. This role involves diagnosing and treating illnesses, performing surgeries, and educating pet owners on proper care. The Veterinarian will work closely with our support staff to ensure the well-being of all animals in our care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose any medical conditions.
- Perform surgeries and medical procedures, including animal catheterization and aseptic techniques.
- Administer vaccinations and medications as needed.
- Provide guidance to pet owners on proper pet care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
- Maintain accurate medical records for each animal treated.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
- Handle a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, and equine species, demonstrating excellent animal handling skills.
- Utilize laboratory equipment for diagnostic testing and analysis.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of animals during examinations and treatments through effective animal restraint techniques.
- Perform Surgeries like spay, neuter.
Experience
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution is required.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in animal handling techniques, particularly with dogs and equine species.
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures related to veterinary medicine is advantageous.
- Knowledge of animal physiology and pet grooming practices is a plus.

Pay: $200,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year
