Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule freight shipments, ensuring optimal routes and timely deliveries.
- Utilize dispatching software to monitor and track shipments in real-time.
- Analyze transportation data to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and vendors using phone systems.
- Manage transportation planning to align with supply chain operations.
- Resolve any issues that arise during the transportation process promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities and communications.
Experience
- MUST HAVE USED THE ALWAYS SYSTEM
- Strong understanding of freight operations and transportation
- Proficiency in using dispatching software, preferably Always
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess situations quickly and make informed decisions.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
- Familiarity with supply chain processes is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Rotating weekends
