What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Equipment Maintenance Specialist position at MS-IL Packaging?
Join **Pro Talent Group**—a branch of MS-IL Staffing & Packaging—partnering with a prominent client for a role as a full-time **Maintenance Specialist** located in Avon, Indiana.
- Shifts: Choose 1st Shift (6 AM – 6 PM) or 2nd Shift (6 PM – 6 AM) on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule.
Daily Contributions:
- Uphold safety and regulatory standards including OSHA and GMPs.
- Direct and conduct Preventative Maintenance (PM) to reduce equipment downtime.
- Analyze and mend PLCs, VFDs, plus electrical/mechanical systems.
- Complete assignments swiftly with diligent paperwork.
- Facilitate machinery transitions and startups.
- Oversee parts inventory; manage replacements.
- Engage in Continuous Improvement (CI) efforts.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Education: Degree in a related field is preferred.
- Experience: 3 years in maintenance or 5 years in a related skill set.
- Sector Experience: Familiarity with food processing/manufacturing is advantageous.
- Skills: Proficient in tools for electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Skilled at interpreting blueprints and technical specifications.
- Tools: Personal hand tools required; specialized equipment provided.
