Journeyman Maintenance Technician

Pro Talent Group , a division of MS-IL Staffing & Packaging , is hiring a full-time Journeyman Maintenance Technician for a local manufacturing company in Greensburg, Indiana . This role is ideal for an experienced maintenance professional skilled in troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of production and support equipment.

Salary : $33–$36 per hour $2 shift premium

Shift : 2nd Shift | 6 : 00 PM – 6 : 30 AM | 2-2-3 rotating schedule

Position Overview :

The Journeyman Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability and efficiency of production and support equipment. This role requires expertise in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems , with a strong focus on preventative maintenance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities :

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair production and support equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and enhance equipment reliability.
• Execute scheduled repairs and improvement projects as directed by leadership.
• Train production employees and fellow technicians on equipment operation and care.
• Assist with installation and relocation of machinery.
• Perform minor fabrication, modifications, and installations of fixtures and guards.
• Operate tool room equipment, including lathes, mills, and grinders.
• Adhere to company safety, 5S, and operational standards.
