Pro Talent Group, a division of MS-IL Staffing & Packaging, is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing facility in Indianapolis, IN. This role is critical in maintaining equipment, reducing downtime, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- $38/hr ($79,040 per year)
- Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday – Friday
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Monday – Friday
- 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM, Sunday – Thursday
- Weekend work, early starts, or late ending times may be required
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and condition-based maintenance to OEM standards
- Analyze line performance data and recommend improvements
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment
- Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives
- Train operators on basic maintenance tasks
- Maintain detailed records in the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Work collaboratively with production teams to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment required
- Food or beverage manufacturing experience preferred but not required
- Strong mechanical and basic electrical skills
- Experience with packaging, conveyance, and liquid/powder manufacturing equipment
- Basic knowledge of PLC (Allen Bradley) preferred
- Familiarity with CMMS and production workflow/control systems
- Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and improve equipment performance
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, reach, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment
- Must be able to work extended hours, including overtime and weekends as needed
