What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Associate 2nd Shift position at MS-IL Staffing?
MS-IL Staffing & Packaging and its local client are NOW HIRING Shipping Associate for Resonac in the Greensburg, Indiana, area!
$15.00 / hour
Shifts: 2nd, 2:30PM– 11:00PM, Monday– Friday
**Must be willing and available to work OVERTIME as needed on Saturdays & Sundays**
Shipping associates are responsible for quality control, tracking, transporting, and packaging order items for distribution. Shipping associates are highly organized, detail oriented, and observant.
Job duties:
- Logs all processing information and data with accuracy and full detail
- Completes tasks according to standardized work processes, quality goals, and manufacturing schedules
- Maintains the good working condition of equipment and tools
- Promotes teamwork and safety in the warehouse
- Pack parts into totes and shipping containers
- Creates labels for shipping containers
- Custom crating, packing, and unpacking of products.
- Communicates daily with supervisor and production.
- Prepares shipping paperwork.
- Ensures all finished material is counted and placed in proper location.
Skills & requirements:
- Experience in manufacturing or production preferred
- Basic math, reading, and comprehension skills
- Must be dependable & reliable
- Must pass drug screen and background check
- E-Verify employer
Physical requirements:
- Must be able to stand 8 hours per day
- Requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand and walk for prolonged periods, climb, reach, crouch, operate a pallet jack, and perform repetitive movements with upper and lower extremities.
Work environment:
- Industrial facility
- temperature controlled environment
Dress code: Blue jeans or work pants, MS-IL t-shirt, safety glasses, steel toed shoes
