Marketing Assistant – Ms. Mickey’s Creole Seasonings
Location: North Carolina (Travel Required)
Compensation: $8 -$15 per hour Commission
Part-Time | Weekends & Events Required
About Us:
Ms. Mickey’s Creole Seasonings is a fast-growing, veteran-owned small business specializing in authentic Creole and Cajun blends. We’re expanding, and we need a Marketing Assistant to help capture the energy of our brand through video, photography, and social media engagement. If you’re passionate about food, marketing, and event promotions, we want you on our team!
Job Responsibilities:
- Event Coverage: Capture high-quality video and photos at events, farmers' markets, fairs, and festivals.
- Content Creation: Film Ms. Mickey’s cooking sessions and upload footage to the marketing team for editing.
- Social Media Management: Communicate with the marketing team about social media content needs and trends.
- Customer Engagement: Respond to emails, inquiries, and social media interactions professionally.
- Point of Sale Transactions: Handle product sales using Shopify POS, ensuring accurate and efficient transactions.
- Event Administration: Assist with event registrations, sign-ins, and maintaining an organized schedule.
- Brand Representation: Maintain a positive and engaging presence that aligns with Ms. Mickey’s mission and values.
Qualifications & Requirements:
✔ Must be 18 years old
✔ Ability to lift 20-55 lbs (products, display items, etc.)
✔ Ability to stand for more than 4 hours at events
✔ Strong computer skills for email and team communication
✔ Must have reliable transportation to and from event locations
✔ Excellent communication and organizational skills
✔ Experience in videography, photography, and social media management is a plus

Expected hours: 20 per week
