Wig Sales Associate

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our dynamic team in our wig store. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting them with their wig and topper purchases. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a friendly and compassionate demeanor, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment. You will need to be able fit the wigs properly on the customer as well as cut and style them. We prefer a hairstylist for the position, but are willling to to train someone, and have the master wigstylist do the cutting if necessary. Sales and customer service is the most important thing that we ask you have experience in.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
• Provide knowledgeable information about products and services to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrate products through engaging product demos to encourage sales.
• Operate cash registers efficiently, handling cash transactions and ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
• Operate Square POS System.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and displayed attractively.
• Utilize basic math skills for processing transactions and managing cash register operations.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve store performance.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Place orders with vendors
• Style Wigs
• Cut Wigs
• Wash wigs
• Size wigs
• Sew clips

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not required.
• Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for interacting with customers effectively.
• Basic math skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately.
• Experience with cash registers and cash handling is a plus an knowledge of Square POS.
• Ability to work all day Friday and Saturday and as season comes will most likley add another day and holidays as needed.
• Compassion and patience. We have alot of cancer patients, and hair loss clients.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are key attributes for success in this role.

This postion is $18.00 an hour plus 10% commision

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $50.00 per hour
