This position is located at our new State Veterans Home located in Tradition, MS. First-level Nurse Manager/Supervisor accountable for directing nursing services and oversight and review of work and documentation of subordinate and specialist personnel. Supervises, plans and schedules the delivery of nursing services to several units and/or wards in a patient care setting. Assumes responsibility for carrying out several nursing programs in a public health setting. **This is a non-state, time-limited position with Mississippi Veteran Affairs. "
Typically requires state licensure as a Registered Nurse and 2-4 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail. Ability to work as part of a cohesive team.
