Equipment Inventory Specialist

MSB Analytics Inc is seeking an Equipment/Inventory Specialist working for our DoD customer in Silver Spring, MD. The ideal candidate must be diligent and responsible, able to perform a variety of administrative and inventory tasks. Candidate must have good organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
Essential functions:

• Resolves day-to-day administrative and operational matters.
• Compiles and maintains records, statistical information, and reports.
• Establishes and maintains various filing and records management systems.
• Maintains accurate file plans for governing policies.
• Verifies and maintains accuracy of information in databases.
• Assists in managing and maintaining company’s inventory.
• Tracks current equipment assets and values.
• Initiates DD250’s and ensures signatures from all parties.
• Creates and renews Loan Property Passes for employees.
• Maintains and completes physical equipment folders for all equipment gained, to ensure preparation for inspections.
• Receives new incoming equipment and creates property passes.
• Keeps inventory in DMLSS (Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support).
• Ensures all equipment has Equipment Control Number (ECN) stickers.
• Assists in maintaining inventory performing annual inventory.

Required education and experience:
Minimum High School diploma with a minimum of 5 years’ experience or Associates B degree with min. 3 years work experience.
Other Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust or have a PT or higher.
• Must have excellent organizational skills.
• Familiar with DD250 forms preferred.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Able to work independent and in a team.
