What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Front Desk Reception position at MSC Medical?
We are seeking a customer serviced focused Medical Front Desk. The primary duties are being the first contact with a patient upon arrival, checking in new and established patients. This includes a high degree of personalized attention to the details for a positive patient experience.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Opening and preparing the front
- Answer and triage incoming calls and distribute accordingly
- Check in patients as they arrive
- Verify insurance
- Enter demographic and insurance information
- Make new patient charts as needed
- Print paperwork as needed
- Collect Co-pays and Co-insurance payments
- Manage Clinic Schedule
- Check out patients
- Process incoming and outgoing faxes
- Process incoming referrals
- Cross training to other areas
- Other administrative and clinical duties as required
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of Medical Front Desk experience within in the past 4 years
- Ability to excel in FAST PACED environment
- Ability to MULTITASK.
- Excellent typing and COMPUTER SKILLS REQUIRED .
- Is Detail oriented and accurate
- Ability to ORGANIZE and prioritize
- Ability to work with diverse clientele
- Team player
- Stable work history
- Positive, friendly attitude
- Valid driver's license
Hours are M-F 7:45 AM - 4:30 PM
