Job Summary

This position is responsible for reviewing the compliance of import and export activities with all applicable regulations and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implements Corporate and Government trade compliance processes through shipment transaction.
• Reviews international movements of containers, while maintaining applicable records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Communicates import or export transaction corrective action requirements with internal and external customers for missing or errant compliance reporting.
• Assists, as needed, in planning, scheduling, routing, and tracking Import and Export shipments, while protecting corporate liability and quality standards.
• Supports internal trade compliance assessments and audits, including required documentation preparation and reviews with management, auditors, and legal counsel.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Key Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Working Knowledge of US Anti-Boycott and OFAC rules and regulations
• English: advanced
• Strong attention to details
• Organized, efficient, and able to manage time effectively
• Strong customer service mindset, focused, and responsive
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Great team player
• Knowledge of MS Excel with the ability to learn new software

Preferred skills / abilities

• Knowledge of U.S. import and export compliance reporting processes and implications for business activities
• Knowledge of U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
• Knowledge of U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
• Knowledge of U.S. Antiboycott Regulations
