Job Summary The Import Documentation Clerk is responsible for the inward cargo manifest into MSC USA’s system, as well as ensuring all system information is updated to reflect accurate data for all USA departments. Key Responsibilities & Duties: Manifest shipments in MSC USA systems based on instructions received from various parties. Transmit EDI files to necessary entities and partners as specified by USCBP rules/regulations and internal procedures. Perform manifest amendments and ensure all necessary parties are aware of the amended data. Handle communications received by the department for resolution. Perform other duties as required Qualifications & Key Competencies: Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience Prior experience in import/export documentation, transportation, or logistics customer service experience, preferably ocean import documentation experience preferred.
