Job Summary:
This position is responsible for assisting the Import Trade Department with new and amended Service Contracts as well as supporting the Accounting Division with Rate Disputes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establishes relationships with other departments (Sales/Trades/Bids/SVC/Intermodal) to develop successful partnerships.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management.
- Maintain records and files related to rate agreements, import surcharges, exception lists, trade maps, and other departmental records.
- Assist in the preparation of announcements for new and/or existing surcharges and trade maps; Assist in collecting monthly import BRC, GFS, etc., and preparing announcements.
- Assist in processing AMN, renewal, and new SVC requests for Reefer and Dry non-Bid for BCO and NVO.
- Rate checking / Disputes for non-bids, non-VIP accounts.
- Assist in maintaining exception lists for CUC, local charges, etc.
- Update the monthly import surcharge matrix and distribute to trade/customers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
- Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications & Key Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in a similar role (supply chain, transportation, shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, customer service, etc.)
