About Us:

We Love first, then teach!

G-heritage Schools is an umbrella company for our Bentonville Preschool locations. We are committed to providing exceptional early childhood education to the children in our community. As a well-established leader in the field, we take pride in our hands-on, family-oriented approach to educating and nurturing young learners. With two preschools under our care, we’re ready to take our operations to the next level—and we need a highly skilled, strategic, and visionary Operations Manager / School Operator to help us do it.

As the Owner and CEO, I have always been deeply involved in the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of the schools, and now I’m looking for someone who can step in and execute with the same level of passion, precision, and expertise. If you’re an experienced leader with a strong track record in educational management, business growth, and operational excellence, this is an extraordinary opportunity to take ownership of two vibrant institutions and lead them into the next chapter of success.

Position Overview:

As the Operations Manager / School Operator, you will take full responsibility for overseeing every aspect of the preschool’s daily operations, ensuring it runs smoothly, efficiently, and effectively. You will be responsible for driving growth, increasing enrollment, improving operational processes, and managing all aspects of school administration. This role requires a dynamic, strategic thinker with the ability to take on high-level decision-making, as well as hands-on leadership in both educational and business domains.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership & Management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of both preschools, ensuring smooth, efficient functioning across all areas (staff, budget, curriculum, facilities, and administration).
  • Lead and manage a team of teachers, staff, and support personnel, setting expectations, providing coaching and development, and ensuring the highest standards of performance.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all school-related matters, serving as a strong leader who sets the vision, tone, and culture of the schools.

2. Enrollment & Growth Strategy:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to increase student enrollment and retention, including marketing, community outreach, partnerships, and creating an exceptional experience for families.
  • Cultivate relationships with prospective and current families, providing them with personalized tours, ensuring satisfaction, and encouraging referrals.
  • Implement innovative programs or offerings to make the school stand out in a competitive market.

3. Financial Oversight & Budgeting:

  • Oversee the financial health of the schools, including managing budgets, forecasting expenses, monitoring tuition rates, and ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Develop cost-saving initiatives without sacrificing quality or the integrity of the educational program.
  • Conduct regular financial reviews, identify areas for improvement, and adjust strategies to maximize profitability while providing top-tier education.

4. Operational Efficiency:

  • Streamline operational processes to ensure optimal performance, ensuring that every aspect of the school’s daily routine (from scheduling to facilities management) runs smoothly.
  • Manage compliance with licensing, accreditation, and regulatory requirements, ensuring the school’s policies and practices meet or exceed industry standards.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of curriculum, teacher training, and ongoing professional development to maintain high educational standards.

5. Marketing & Community Engagement:

  • Design and implement marketing strategies to promote the schools and attract new families.
  • Build relationships with local businesses, community leaders, and organizations to enhance the school’s presence and foster community support.
  • Lead the development of promotional materials, social media campaigns, and parent engagement initiatives.

6. Performance Metrics & Reporting:

  • Set performance metrics for student success, staff performance, and school growth.
  • Provide regular reports on key performance indicators to the Owner/CEO, including enrollment numbers, financial performance, and program effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement based on data and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Additional certifications in school management, leadership, or business administration are a plus.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 5-7 years in a leadership role within a preschool, childcare, or education setting, with at least 3 years in a senior management role.
  • Proven experience in driving growth, managing teams, and overseeing all aspects of school operations, including budgeting, enrollment management, staffing, and strategic planning.
  • Strong track record in increasing enrollment and successfully marketing educational services.
  • Experience in financial management and budget oversight in an educational setting.
  • Skills & Abilities:
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and empower a team to reach its full potential.
  • High-level problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of early childhood education principles, child development, and best practices for school operations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and collaborate with families, staff, and external partners.
  • Proven ability to think strategically, drive change, and develop long-term plans for growth and improvement.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary, commensurate with experience.
  • Commision and/or profit sharing (to be discussed in the interview)
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance options.
  • Paid time off (PTO) and holiday pay.
  • Ongoing professional development and opportunities for growth.
  • A highly supportive and collaborative environment where you will be valued and empowered to make decisions.
  • The opportunity to truly shape the future of two highly regarded schools and make a lasting impact on the lives of young learners.

Why This Role is Unbeatable:

As the Operations Manager/School Operator, you will have the chance to take the helm of two preschools, leading them to new heights of success.
