Employment Type: Part Time - 16 hours per week
Pay: $18.45 Hourly
POSITION: SITE SUPERVISOR - ADVENTURE CLUB - Afterschool/Summer Program
HOURS: After School Program hours:
2:45 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday
2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Friday
Will be scheduled to work full days on teacher workdays and during some school breaks between
the hours of 7:45 a.m.- 5:30 p.m.
START DATE: March 7, 2025, or as needed.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervision of the day-to-day operations of the afterschool program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: direct supervision of enrolled children; provide direction and guidance to Group Leaders, UI work study students, and volunteers; scheduling staff; plan and implement activities; use computer software for record keeping and childcare management; supply shopping; organize supplies; clean area daily; positive communications with families; assist the program director with hiring Group Leaders; train new staff; provide input on annual evaluations of Group Leaders; scheduling; promote cooperation, group cohesiveness and positive relations.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Experience and/or desire to work with grade school age students.
2. Ability to communicate effectively. Follow written and oral instructions. Read and speak English.
3. Ability to supervise staff and volunteers.
4. Ability to supervise student activities for safety and aid children as needed.
5. Ability to work in a team atmosphere and collaborate positively with others.
6. Ability to develop, plan, and facilitate activities for kindergarten through fifth graders.
7. High school diploma or equivalent.
