Southwood Elementary School and MSD of Wabash County seeks qualified candidates for our Little Knights lead preschool teaching position working with our three-year old students.
Job Requirements:
- Fostering a safe, positive and healthy learning environment
- Engaging actively with children
- Creating, planning, and leading developmentally appropriate activities for children ages 3-4 aligned with the Indiana Early Learning Foundations
- Facilitating a language-rich, literacy-based environment
- Cultivating a creative thinking and learning environment through discovery process and hands-on experiences
- Conducting student assessments to inform instruction
- Communicating with parents and staff
- Collaborating with staff and administration
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or associate's degree in early childhood education, child development or related field
