Project Coordinator – Power Systems

We are seeking a highly structured, detail-driven, and results-oriented Project Coordinator – Power Systems to ensure the successful planning and execution of power generation and industrial power projects.

About the Role:

As a Project Coordinator – Power Systems, you will:

  • Project Support: Assist Project Managers in planning, organizing, and tracking power systems projects to ensure timely execution.
  • Scheduling & Logistics: Maintain detailed project schedules, coordinate procurement timelines, and allocate resources for maximum efficiency.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain and organize project documentation, track progress, and prepare detailed reports for internal teams and clients.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between engineering, procurement, sales, and field service teams to maintain project alignment.
  • Procurement & Vendor Coordination: Assist with ordering materials, managing vendor relationships, and tracking deliveries with precision.
  • Compliance & Safety Support: Ensure that all project documentation complies with regulatory and company safety standards.
  • Cost & Budget Tracking: Support financial tracking of projects, process invoices, and monitor expenditures to ensure budget adherence.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify potential roadblocks and take proactive steps to resolve them before they impact project timelines.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously refine project workflows and best practices to enhance efficiency.

What You Bring:

  • Education & Experience:
    • Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (preferred).
    • 2 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in power generation, industrial power, or electrical industries.

  • Technical & Analytical Skills:
    • Strong analytical mindset with a drive for mastery and expertise.
    • Experience with power generation equipment (generators, switchgear, UPS systems) is a plus.
    • Proficiency in project management software (Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar) and ERP systems.
    • Ability to analyze complex data independently and develop structured solutions.
  • Organizational & Communication Skills:
    • Exceptional attention to detail with a structured and methodical approach.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across departments.
    • Ability to work well under pressure, juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Environment & Adaptability:
    • Ability to handle frequent interactions and disruptions while staying focused on key project goals.
    • Quick decision-making skills with the ability to adapt to shifting deadlines and goals.
    • Willingness to work long hours as needed to support project completion.
    • Minimal travel may be required to support project needs.
