Job Summary
A challenging role has become available within our organization, as a project management and engineering professional. This individual will lead the team through various stages of project execution, ensuring successful completion.
Main Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop end-to-end project plans, identifying risks and dependencies while utilizing best practice project management standards.
- Engineering for Manufacturing Operations: Perform scope definition, design, budgeting, scheduling, line layouts, purchasing, cost estimating and control, implementation, system integration, documentation, report writing, start-up, and training.
- Safety and Sanitation: Apply understanding of safety principles & Good Manufacturing Practices for the food industry (sanitary practices) to engineering projects.
- Project Management Tools: Utilize MSIE standard project management tools and process for items such as safety, sanitary design, controls, Equipment Acceptance Testing and Start-up/Validation documents.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and communicate project risks.
- Vendor and Contractor Management: Select and manage outside engineering as required to meet customer, product, and capacity requirements, as well as select and manage use of external vendors and contractors for engineering and maintenance-related projects.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, external vendors and contractors.
- Performance Measurement: Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering field or Project Management field - Required.
- Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar - Required.
- Previous contract manufacturing experience - Desired.
- Experience in food industry or short-life environment - Desired.
