Metro Sales is seeking an Experienced Sales Manager to work out of our Mankato, MN office. This role will lead a Sales Team by providing guidance, training and mentorship. This position will also be responsible for maintaining and building a book of business.
What You Will Do:
- Lead a growing Sales Team.
- Provide guidance, training and mentorship.
- Develop sales representatives in product knowledge, sales activities, selling skills and strategies, time and territory management.
- Achieve established goals and quotas, including Team Gross Margin.
- Adhere to the company's policies, programs and procedures.
- Contribute on structure, direction, programs and policies.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge.
- Provide support for sales representatives through the sales cycle.
- Manage the sales process and provide sales planning.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven ability to coach/develop sales team.
- Prior B2B sales experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation and building relationship skills.
- Bring market knowledge to sales processes.
- Computer proficiency in MS Office, e-mail, sales prospecting database and internet functions.
- Clean Driving Record.
- Valid Drivers License.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited University.
- 2-5 years B2B sales management experience
