Position Summary
The IT Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing internal technology projects, managing data-related initiatives, and optimizing communication processes within the firm. This role involves working with HubSpot, Microsoft Office Suite, tax software, and data analytics tools to improve efficiency, streamline workflows, and enhance client interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management: Lead internal IT and operational projects, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business goals.
- Data Mining & Analytics: Extract, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to support business decisions and improve internal processes.
- Client Communication Management: Develop and execute mail merges, automated emails, and client outreach campaigns using HubSpot and Microsoft Office tools.
- Software & System Optimization: Work with tax software, CRM (HubSpot), and other financial tools to enhance internal workflows and reporting capabilities.
- Process Automation: Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency in reporting, client communication, and data handling.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with partners, accountants, and admin teams to ensure smooth technology integration and operational improvements.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in IT project management, business intelligence, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), including advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot CRM, tax software, and client management tools.
- Proficiency in data mining, data analytics, and reporting tools.
- Ability to automate mail merges and manage bulk email campaigns efficiently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a CPA, tax, or financial services firm.
- Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with document automation and workflow improvement tools.
- Certifications in project management (PMP, CAPM, or Agile) are a plus.
