- Community Engagement: Develop and implement outreach strategies to increase community awareness of our programs and services
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain partnerships with community organizations, local businesses, and key stakeholders to strengthen the organization's presence
- Event Participation & Coordination: Organize and represent the organization at community events, fairs, and meetings to promote initiatives and recruit community members
- Public Relations: Serve as the face of the organization in the community, engaging with residents and responding to inquiries about programs and services
- Program Support: Collaborate with internal teams to support community-based programs, ensuring they meet the needs and interests of the community
- Data Collection & Reporting: Track outreach efforts, gather community feedback, and provide regular updates to leadership on engagement activities and outcomes
- Advocacy & Education: Act as a community advocate, sharing information about important issues and educating the public on how to access available resources and services
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds
- Relationship Management: Ability to build and sustain positive relationships with community members, partners, and stakeholders
- Event Coordination: Experience organizing and promoting community events is a plus
- Cultural Competence: Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse communities we serve
