What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Services Manager position at MSPCA-Angell?
MSPCA-Angell Animal Medical Center has an opening for a Client Services Manager. In this role the manager is responsible for the leadership and direct management of our Client Care Specialist (CCS) team.
THE POSITION:
The Manager oversees the 24/7 operations of the Front Office, Admitting Office and Emergency Desk. It is the role of the Manager to work collaboratively with other Client Service areas to design and implement policies to optimize the experience of all Angell clients and patients. In coordination with the Director of Client Services, the Manager is responsible for the recruitment and training of all CCS. The Manager serves at the point person for the veterinary staff to assist in decision making regarding client issues.
This is a highly visible position and requires a commitment to making a positive impression on every client who walks through our door.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:
We are looking for applicants with at least 3 years of management experience in a client service field, who are motivated leaders/teachers with a background managing teams of client service staffers. We need someone in this role that is devoted to creating (and maintaining) a values-based culture that remains organizationally committed while perpetually evolving with the changing needs of our clientele, the department and this organization.
The Manger should be adept at handling day-to-day operations and employee relations, all while building universality of experience for every client, both internal and external. The Client Services Manager directly oversees our Client Care Specialist staff. Given that the CCS staff are positioned as the face of our organization, the person in this position has the potential to have a profound impact on both client and patient care. Applicants should be an expert with written and verbal communication skills, have a love of animals and possess the physical ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, as well as, the ability to bend, lift, and stoop to satisfactorily carry out the above responsibilities.
