What are the responsibilities and job description for the Volunteer and Foster Care Coordinator - MSPCA-Angell Cape Cod Adoption Center position at MSPCA - Angell?
This is a full time, 40 hour a week position.
THE POSITION:
The MSPCA-Angell Cape Cod Adoption Center is looking for a full time Volunteer and Foster Care Coordinator to oversee all aspects of our large volunteer and foster care programs. Some primary job responsibilities include the recruitment, training and on-going management of volunteers and fosters.
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:
We are looking for applicants with at least 2 years of program management or general management experience and 2 years of customer service experience (preferably in an animal shelter). Qualified applicants will have strong organizational skills and computer and database management skills, as well as, the ability to initiate and delegate projects, and follow through with the completion and maintenance of programs with minimal supervision. Applicants with general animal handling skills are preferred. Applicants should have a deep sense of compassion and a strong desire to help both animals and people, and the ability to maintain a positive work environment that we foster here at MSPCA-Angell.
