Roles and Responsibilities
· Oversee the daily activities of the IT team.
· Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively.
· Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
· Plan, execute, and monitor IT projects.
· Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
· Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to align IT projects with business objectives.
· Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements.
· Lead by example in technical problem-solving and decision-making.
· Ensure the team follows best practices in software development, system administration, and other IT functions.
· Provide technical training to end-users.
· Allocate resources efficiently to meet team and project needs.
· Manage the procurement and maintenance of IT equipment and software.
· Ensure the team has the necessary tools and resources to perform their tasks effectively.
· Act as a liaison for vendors to manage support requests and hardware or software procurement.
· Serve as the primary point of contact between the IT team and their manager.
· Facilitate effective communication within the team and with their manager.
· Report on team performance, project progress, and IT issues to their management.
· Ensure the team adheres to IT security policies and procedures.
· Oversee the implementation of security measures to protect company data.
· Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
· Address and resolve technical issues and challenges faced by the team.
· Provide support for complex technical problems that require escalation.
· Develop and implement solutions to improve system performance and reliability.
· Participate in strategic planning for IT initiatives and infrastructure.
· Identify opportunities for technological advancements and innovation within the company and present them to their manager.
· Triage tickets and make sure the team follows the ticket policy, assist with tickets when needed.
· Assist with high priority tickets.
· Perform server design and capacity planning.
· Create and maintains documentation as it relates to server and network configuration.
· Oversee new and existing equipment, hardware, and software upgrades.
· Sets up, administers, and supports virtual server environments (VMware ESXi Server).
Qualifications and Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
· 4 years of experience with O365 administrator.
· 3 - 4 years of experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Intune.
· Experience with Microsoft Defender, BitLocker, User Account Control.
· Experience remediating a comprised PC (Hijacked, Virus, Malware).
· Experience with End Point Security.
· Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
· Experience as a Team Lead of three or more individuals.
· Knowledge of system administration and operating systems.
· Experience with network installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
· Excellent problem-solving skills.
· Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Physical Demands: Constant sitting, walking short distances, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching above and/or below shoulder, handling/grasping documents or office equipment, clear speaking and adequate hearing sufficient to communicate effectively and respond appropriately in-person and/or on the telephone, vision sufficient to read source materials and computer screen data, repetitive motions for computer equipment use, lift 25 lbs. occasionally, 5-10 lbs. frequently to lift/carry/move objects, files and documents.
· Must successfully pass a background check and drug test.
Work Environment: Work is performed in an office environment with air conditioning and bright lights.
