Medical Logistics Specialist
Multiple locations may include : Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, Chicago, IL, Miami, FL, San Diego, CA, New York, NY, Boston, MA, Texas, and other locations.
This position is fully mobile, requiring travel between sites as needed. The first location to be filled is Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
Job duties :
- Procure and manage medical supplies and equipment
- Perform inventory checks and maintain accurate records of all healthcare supplies and equipment
- Ensure the timely distribution of medical supplies and equipment to various departments within the healthcare facility
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand their equipment needs and ensure they are met
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for the procurement of medical supplies and equipment
- Monitor the lifecycle of medical equipment and manage their maintenance and repairs
- Implement policies and procedures for the distribution and storage of medical supplies
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations when handling medical supplies and equipment
- Arrange for the disposal of medical waste and expired supplies in a safe and compliant manner
- Conduct regular training sessions for healthcare staff on the proper handling and usage of medical equipment
- Adhere to the company's AS9100 and QMS policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
