The Buyback Prevention Resolution Specialist will be responsible for supporting the Stellantis dealership and administrative network on requests related to very urgent buyback cases for parts resolution. This role will focus on maintaining an email inbox solely used for buyback scenarios. The Buyback Specialist will work closely with the Buyback Resolution Technical Team and Field Service Consultants. They will work primarily in Stellantis systems, including a case management tool, mainframe linkouts, parts catalog, parts inventory management, supply chain tools, etc. It will require a daily focus on problem solving to obtain required parts, make expediting decisions to ship parts and track them until arrived at required locations (dealer). It is a fast-paced environment with high
expectations.
Day to Day Responsibilities
Requests to be handled include among others :
- Pick from plant process to fill highly escalated part orders
- Facilitate extreme escalations as needed
- Pull reports to reduce escalations
- Dealer to dealer (D2D) sale negotiations - ability to get a dealer to sell a part to
- another dealer
- Dealer interaction for part fulfillment, both verbal and written
- Main point of contact for parts in buyback meetings (part level)
- Part tracking
- Follow up with the different groups that own where the part is at that point in time
- and escalate appropriately
- Ability to look up a VIN using Stellantis sites and applications for part usage
- Upgrade order status
- Place request on dealer behalf
- Force or void orders
Other duties as assigned from time to time by Management
